Lindores Abbey Lowland Whisky
Lindores er et sted af stor betydning i den skotske whisky historie. Det var her den første officiellt anerkendte destillation af skotsk whisky fandt sted i 1494. Destillationen i Lindores, startede for over 500 år siden. Den daværende Kong James IV, beder broder John Cor, en munk i Lindores Abbey, om at lave Aqua Vitae af 8 sække byg.
